I was one of those fortunate souls who was born into a family of stylish and "natty" dressers.  My mother was a singer in the local night club and my father's grandfather was one of the founding fathers of our home town. They were a handsome couple and both turned a head or two. When I was 8, I modeled in my first fashion show and I was hooked on clothes from that point on.

In 1966, I started my treasure hunting and collecting vintage clothes.  My favorite store was called Second Hand Rose. It was in an alley, but we had safe neighborhoods and I was allowed to ride my bike there.  At the age of 13, the store was full of wonderful "treasures", and I couldn't get enough of the goodies that had "history." 

From auctions to second hand stores, flea markets, antique stores and more, it was the perfect time to start collecting.  Over the years, everywhere I went I picked up "finds" that attracted me.  Now, I want to share these treasures with you.  Most of the clothes collection were from estates and the clothes were originals including Oscar de la Renta, Mr. Blackwell Designs, Neustetters, Lilli Ann Originals and more.

In the 80's I packed up all the clothes and stored them while I traveled the U.S. These clothes are well traveled, but in excellent condition for their age.  Any imperfections are noted.
